Friday-Sunday, Mid-November • Bryn Du Mansion • 14th Annual Rendville Art Show • A perennial favorite in Granville, the exhibit will feature all new artwork created by artists with disabilities. Truly outsider artists with little to no professional training, they work daily in the converted Baptist Church Building on Main Street in Rendville, Ohio. Read more.....

Friday-Sunday, Mid-October • Gambier, OH • Kenyon College Family Weekend • Kenyon hosts more than a thousand parents, along with siblings and grandparents, during a weekend filled with events and activities.

Saturday, October • The Granville Inn's Lawn • Granville Chili Cookoff • 12pm-3pm •  Granville, OH • This annual event takes place on the lawn of the Granville Inn. Local chefs, restaurants, and villagers compete for the title of best chili!

Friday-Saturday, Fall • Preview Friday 5-8pm • Saturday 9am-3pm • The Rural Society Bi-Annual Antique Sale - Mt. Vernon, OH •  The sale is held the first Saturday in May and October each year and has become popular with many dealers, decorators and collectors across the state and beyond. Saturday, Late September/Early October • 9am-4pm • Robbins Hunter Museum - Downtown Granville • Antiques Fair •  Nearly forty antiques and collectibles dealers will bring their wares to sell on the lawn of the Robbins Hunter Museum/Avery Downer House. The fair benefits programs at the Museum.

Friday-Sunday, Mid-September • Ohio Village - Columbus • Fall Country Living Fair • "Country Living Magazine" is a favorite of many people all across the USA, and they are coming to Columbus, Ohio each year to sponsor a very special weekend, bringing the pages of their magazine to life!  Shop the more than 150 exhibitor booths for antiques, vintage furnishings, crafts, gifts and collectibles.  Enjoy food tastings, cooking demonstrations and the harvest/gourmet market.  Attend decorating and crafting seminars and meet and mingle with the editors and contributors of Country Living for fun family activities.  The Fair is located in the Ohio Village, a charming 19th-century village conveniently located across from the Ohio State Fairgrounds.  Ticket Options.....

1st Saturday in September • Downtown Granville • Annual Granville HotLicks Blues Fest • This party, featuring free blues music with food provided by local vendors, has brought thousands of residents to downtown Granville in the past.  It has  enabled the Granville Federation for the Appreciation of the Blues (GFAB), the festival’s organizer, to donate thousand of dollars to local charities. Sunday-Saturday, Early August • Croton, OH • The Hartford Fair • "The Biggest Little Fair in the World" The independent, family-oriented fair holds something for all ages and interests, from antique machinery and household items to demolition derby and motocross racing. Numerous carnival rides and games are also in abundance. Agricultural and craft displays from local 4-H chapters display local youth talent; the Junior Fair includes exhibitors from Licking County as well as portions of Delaware and Knox counties. Saturday, Earley August • Granville, OH • Pelotonia • Join us in downtown Granville to cheer on thousands of cyclists as they make their way through the heart of the village during Pelotonia! Riders will pass through town from 10am through about 3pm.  Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. The model of Pelotonia remains simple: Pelotonia’s operating expenses are covered by generous funding partners so that 100% of every dollar raised by Pelotonia Riders, Virtual Riders and Volunteers goes directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Pelotonia is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism. Monday-Sunday, Late May/Early June • Muirfield Village, Dublin, OH • PGA's Annual Memorial Tournament •
 The Memorial Tournament is a PGA Tour golf tournament founded by Jack Nicklaus. It is played on a Nicklaus-designed course at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb north of Nicklaus' home town of Columbus. The golf course passes through a large neighborhood called Muirfield Village. There is a statue of Nicklaus teaching a young child how to golf along Muirfield Drive.  As a restricted field event on the PGA Tour, only the first 75 players on the previous year's money-list are guaranteed invites. One of the main features of the tournament is a yearly induction ceremony honoring past golfers. A plaque for each honoree is installed near the clubhouse at Muirfield. Nicklaus himself was the honoree in 2000.  Read more.....

Thursday-Sunday, Early June • 10am - 4pm • Schnormeier Gardens - Gambier, OH • Annual Tour • Peace, harmony, serenity. These are gifts that gardens give.  Schnormeier Gardens are located in the gentle rolling hills of Gambier Ohio. The Schnormeiers began building the gardens in 1996. Over the years, they have grown to include 50-acres of manicured lawns,10 lakes, a variety of discrete garden areas and several waterfalls. The focal point of the property is a spectacular Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired home. This private residence was completed in 1994. Other structures on the property include a Japanese teahouse, garden house, Chinese pavilion and arched bridge. An ever growing collection of unique sculptures are also located on the grounds.  The gardens have a distinct Asian flavor and feature a variety of plantings rich in color and texture. Rare conifers are plentiful. Large boulders and stone walls add dimension and contrast to the landscape. Designed with a bold vision and attention to detail, the gardens offer delightful viewing in any season.  It has been said that a garden can have a soul...but only if it is shared with others. The Schnormeiers are delighted to share theirs with you on their annual open house.  These four days are the only time that the gardens are open to the general public each year.  Read more.....

Thursday-Thursday, Mid-March, 2018 • Bryn Du Mansion • Bryn Du Art Exhibition • The Bryn Du Art Show is an annual juried show with all exhibited art available for sale. The week-plus long show is sponsored by the Village of Granville with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Bryn Du Mansion. Each year over one hundred artists submit work with approximately fifty artists and their work being chosen for the show. Accepted artists may exhibit up to four works.
